Mark Steven Smith

It is with heavy hearts that the Smith family announces the passing of their beloved, Mark S. Smith on August 25, 2022.  Mark was born on August 15, 1955 and had just celebrated his 67th birthday. He is remembered for his sharp wit, dry sense of humor, and spirit.  Mark was truly loved and will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Alden Smith.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Elda Cisneros Smith, his son Steven Smith and wife Kathy and their children Ethan, Sam, Angelica and Alex, his son Matthew Smith and wife Clarissa and their children Sophie and Renee, and his daughter Andrea Johnson and husband Phil and their children Austin and Eliza.  He is also survived by his mother Carolyn Smith and his sisters Mary Caldwell and Jacque Krenek and their families. There will be a celebration of life held in the spring, his favorite time of the year in Brazoria, Texas.
