On March 23, 1934, Jessie Mae Keet was born to Zelma Anderson and Thomas Franklin in Lane City, Texas.
She purchased her home in Van Vleck at age 19. She was well known and respected in the community. Later Ms. Keet would become an active Sunday School member at St. John Baptist Church.
On July 22, 2022, God called Jessie Mae home to reunite with her husband, James Keith who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Selma Anderson, father Thomas Franklin, daughter, Dorothy Pearl Knapp, three brother, two sisters and two great-grandchildren.
Jessie Mae leaves to cherish her most precious memories to her four grandchildren, James Keith, Barbara Knapp (Darryl), Johnny tone, and Jessie Mae tone “Sweet Pea, one sister Joyce Johnson, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great friends.
