Remembering Jahvi
On January 2, 2003, a handsome baby boy was born to Reketha Brinkley and Tigh Thrift whom they named Jahvion Dominic Lee Thrift at Matagorda General Hospital in Bay City, Texas. He shared his up brining with his brother, Jamar Griggs and other loving relatives who called him “Jahvi”.
Jahvion attend school at Pearland High School as a senior of Class of 2021. He enjoyed all sports with a love of playing basketball and video games. He accepted Christ at an early age and actively served as a member of Hope church Pearland. He also attended youth services every Wednesday at Life Point Fellowship.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, K.D. Green, Pablo Sanchez, David Brinkley, Sr./ and Eddie Griggs, Sr. and great-grandmothers Ernestine Hinkle and Rosalie Griggs.
