Irma Jean Smith (BKA "Meme"), 84, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, in

Bay City, Texas. Irma was born to her parents(father) Morris Hines Sr and (mother) Julia Law Hines.

She was proceeded in death by her Father Morris Hines Sr, her Mother Julia Law Hines, her Brothers Clifford Earl Hines, Frank Law, her Son Edwin Earl Smith, and (son-in-law) Tony Austin.

She is survived by her daughters Darlene Austin and Novia (Dwight) Brannon. Grandchildren: LaKisha (Stanley) Onwudiwe, David Lee Green III (Triquilla Denise) Green, William Brannon, Leslie Brannon, Joshua Brannon, Natalie Brannon, Franklin (Keaonna) Smith. Host of great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
