Born October 10, 1936, in San Saba, Texas to Ernest and Flora Bell (Vaughn) Cummings.
He was a Horse trainer and Ranch foreman most of his career. He carried a gentle wisdom forged through decades of hard work beneath wide Texas skies, guiding both horses and people with the same patient hand. A man of many roles and many names, his life left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Cynthia Gail (Randy) Allen in 2006, and by two brothers and four sisters.
Survived by daughter Telisa (Michael) Saffer of Glen Rose, Texas and one son Greg (Lise’) Cummings of Blessing, Texas four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
