Fredrick Dean Jones

Fredrick Dean Jones, a.k.a. Deanie, a retired USA Air Force Veteran, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the ripe age of 72 years old.

On May 2, 1951, Fredrick Dean Jones was born in Joliet, IL to Otis Eugene and Annie Lee Jones.  Deanie was the 4th child born from this union.

He attended and received all his former education in Joliet, IL and baptismal of the Holy Spirit during his adolescent years.

Born and gifted to selflessly serve and give, Deanie decided to join the USA Air Force where he served diligently and received an honorable discharge in 1978.

Deanie is proceeded in death by both of his loving parents, two sisters Debra Martin and Shirley Ferguson.

Deanie is survived by his wife Charlene Jones; Daughter Deana Luckett of Carbondale, IL; 6 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Great Grandchildren; 3 brothers, Otis Jones Jr. of San Jose, CA, Fernando Abdullah of St. Louis MO, and Orlando Jones of Houston, TX; 2 sisters Patricia Jones and Mildred Evans of Houston, TX; 1 Aunt Kathy McKenzie of Houston, TX; Numerous Nieces and Nephews; Great-Great Nieces and Nephews and also, Nyna Hurt and Nicole Hudson along with several others whom he played a Fatherly role to.

The family wish to express our profound gratitude for all those that were part of Deanie's life and reached out to celebrate his glorious transition.  Thank you for your prayers and every act of kindness shown at this time.  The Jones Family.
