Florine Frazier Harris, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, surrounded by family in Bay City, Texas. She was born on Tuesday, June 01, 1954, to Beno Woods and Johnnie Sauceda Fields in Victoria, Texas.  At an early age Florine attended Victoria public schools and made the decision to accept and profess Jesus Christ as her savior.

Florine married J.D. Harris Jr. From this union two sons were born. Her family was her source of happiness and enjoyment. She dedicated her life to being the heartbeat of her family by providing the physical and spiritual needs of her family.

Her survivors include sons, James(Quamica) Harris III of Wharton, Texas and Jonathan Harris of Bay City, Texas; grandchildren, James Harris IV, Diamond Harris, Jakolby Harris, Markayla Faniel, Aubrianna Faniel, Marcus Faniel, Nsiaye Bonner; mother, Johnnie Sauceda Fields of Bay City, Texas; sisters Lisa Roberson, Anglea Batties, Mary Livingston(Andrew), Doris Revis of Bay City and Marilyn Fields of Stafford, Texas; brothers, Eric Walton of Bay City, Texas, Robert Young of San Antonio, Texas, Isiah Fields of Austin, Texas, Johnny Fields of Victoria, Texas, and Tyrone Fields of Galveston, Texas, special family Nelson Harris of Palacios, Texas, Manson Harris(Wandalyn) of Bay City, Texas, Faye Coulter of Blessing, Texas. A well-loved group of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She was preceded into death by grandmother, Minnie Sauceda, father, Beno Woods, sister, Patricia Sauceda Franklin, brother Elton Young, niece Raven Fields, former husband J.D. Harris Jr., and brother Eugene Harris Sr.
