Erasmo Reyes Obituary

Erasmo Garza Reyes, 65, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, surrounded by his devoted family. Born on August 13, 1959, Erasmo lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a strong commitment to those he cherished. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Erasmo was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Torres Reyes; his brothers, Roger Reyes and Ruben Reyes; and his niece, Linsey Reyes.

He leaves behind his mother, Lydia Reyes, and his beloved wife of many years, Griselda Rodriguez Reyes. Together, they raised a family that Erasmo was incredibly proud of: Christina Marie Reyes Estrada (Alejandro Estrada), Erasmo Paul Reyes (Aida Reyes), and Sarah Lynn Contreras (Martin Contreras). Erasmo adored his 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his love and guidance.

He is also survived by his siblings, Rachel Chavez (Joe Chavez), Eddie Reyes, Susan Salazar (Jimmy Leal), Margarita Cantu (Cande Cantu), and Alicia Perez (Leroy Perez), each of whom he held close to his heart. Erasmo was dearly loved by all his nieces and nephews, who will always remember his playful spirit and generous heart.

Erasmo’s kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family will be deeply missed. His legacy of love and the countless memories he created with his family and friends will remain in their hearts forever.
