Cornelia Perez

Affectionately known as Connie and Granny to her family went to be with The Lord July 29, 2023.

She was born September 16, 1935. She is proceeded in death by her husband Abelardo H. Perez. Parents Jose and Angelina Rocha. Siblings Mateo Rocha, Raymond Rocha, Ecolastica Martinez, Marcelina Pena, and Manuel Rocha. Living siblings Maria Rocha, McAllen, TX, Jose (Ella)Rocha, Camden, SC, Roy (Ofelia)Rocha, Corpus Christi, TX, Guadalupe Rocha Chicago, Ill, Jessie (Armando)Contreras, McAllen, TX, Yolanda (Armando)Salinas, McAllen, TX.

Connie met the love of her life Abelardo at an HEB deli where she was employed. They had 7 children Abelardo Perez (Francisca) San Antonio, TX, Maggie Lara (Fred) Blessing, TX, David Perez (Christy) San Antonio, TX, Danny Perez (Lisa) Blessing, TX, Rudy Perez (Delores)Bay City, TX, Joel Perez (Laciee)San Antonio, TX. Cindy Perez, Bay City, TX. She had 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Connie was employed at the Blessing Hotel Coffee Shop for 20 years where she enjoyed serving and greeting her customers. She retired after her family’s request at the age of 70. She spent the remainder of her years enjoying family, grandkids and great grandkids. An obituary is not available for Cornelia Perez at this time.
