Amanda (Brooks) Jackson

 Amanda was born November 15,1953 in Brazoria County, to the late Hezikiah Brooks Sr., and Pinkie Mae Brooks. Amanda was baptized at Bethlehem Christening Church of Cedar Lake, Texas at a young age. She was preceded in death by her father Hezikiah Brooks Sr., mother Pinkie Mae Brooks, brother Eliyah Brooks and sister Mary Jane Payne Survivors include sons Tommy Hopes (Crystal), Bobby Hopes of Victoria, and Andrea Hopes of New York. Amanda’s siblings include Hezekiah Brooks Jr (Darlean), Estella Lewis, Lorise Cofield, Janice Hopes (Rickey), McLotta Fields all of Bay City, Tennie Linear (Elder James Linear Sr) of Angleton, and Izara Robert Brooks (Jana) of Houston. And a host of grandbabies, nieces and nephews.
