Obituary

Alfred was born in Pickins Mississippi on November 4, 1949, to Andrew Vaughn Sr. and Barbette Cook Vaughn. His parents later moved and raised their family in Amite, Louisiana. After high school Alfred married Emma Jean Thomas and from that union, he has two daughters Rhonda and Marsha.

After sometime, Alfred moved to Bay city and has been here for over 50 years. He worked for Phillips 66 for many years as well as the Texas School systems as a custodian from which he retired.

Alfred is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Larry and Andrew Vaughn.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Rhonda White and Marsha Williams. Two sisters Delores Robinson (Ty’ron) and Billie Rachal. Five brothers Anthony, Percy, Ronal, Jeffery (Tammetra) and Tracy (Melissa). Also, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
